United Kingdom (UK) will continue to support Montenegro in NATO integration, said Head of the Western Balkans Unit Paul Gaskell, adding that the Committee for European Integration should ensure the interest of the citizens.
He met in Podgorica Wednesday with the representatives of the European Integration Committee.
Gaskell said that he was aware of how much society reforms can be difficult.
According to him, the Committee should ensure the interest of the citizens and thus his role was important.
Committee president Slaven Radunovic said that seven proposals for changes to draft negotiation positions were adopted by consensus of the member of that body.
“About the importance of this fact speaks the fact that in the countries of the region during the overall negotiation process no proposed positions were ever changed”, said he.
