Head of Cooperation for the Delegation of the European Union to Podgorica Hermann Spitz expressed hope that EU support will be used to maximize the effects of reforms and fulfill the Montenegrin priorities. He stressed the need to strengthen coordination between the governmental and non-governmental sectors, as well as to increase the participation of civil society organizations in the work of sectoral working groups for programming pre-grant support.

Spitz informed that calls for support to non-governmental organizations from the Civil Society Facility will be invoked next year, while Ivana Glišević Đurović reminded NGO representatives of the currently open but also planned calls for proposals within the framework of cross-border and transnational cooperation programs.
