Three stories selected for the best newspaper article on the EU accession process of Montenegro

Journalists of the daily Pobjeda, the Radio and Television of Montenegro and Radio Jadran, Jovana Đurišić, Maja Lalić Burzanović and Vuk Ilić are the winners of this year’s competition for the best newspaper article on the process of Montenegro’s accession to the European Union.

The competition was announced by the Sector for Informing the Public about the EU and EU Accession Process of the Secretariat General of the Government with the aim to interest the media to report on Montenegro’s accession to the Union, the impact of the process on the life of citizens of Montenegro, the application of European standards and regulations, the adoption of European values  ​​and support of the European Union through available funds and implementation of projects.

This is the second competition in 2019 for journalists of Montenegrin media, which was implemeted in accordance with the Strategy for informing the public on Montenegro’s accession to the European Union 2019-2022, within the EU4ME project financed by the European Union, and implemented by UNDP. Within the first competition, three television journalists were awarded.
