The Secretariat General of the Government – Public Information Sector on the European Union and the EU Accession Process announces a call for proposals for the development of the author’s preliminary design and the implementation of the selected mural proposal on the theme: “Me for Europe, Europe for me”.
At three locations in Montenegro – Podgorica, Bijelo Polje and Bar, murals will be made by reputation and in response to a mural dedicated to the Western Balkans and EU ties ““It is only with the heart that one can see rightly”, presented in April in Brussels.
Who can apply?
• Experts in the field of art, individuals or artistic groups, who have at least one mural, have the right to participate in the competition.
Contest topic
• Design of the author’s preliminary design and implementation of the selected proposal of murals on the theme “I for Europe, Europe for me” on a public facade in the central city zone of Podgorica, Bijelo Polje and Bar.
• Considering that the project is being implemented in a public space, belonging to all citizens of these cities, murals that aesthetically correspond and creatively reflect the socio-historical, natural or cultural context of the city so its local communities are especially welcome.
How to apply?
You are applying for the competition solely by submitting the documentation to the e-mail address eu4mekonkursi@gmail.com by September 10, 2019, with the title “For the competition for making murals in Podgorica, Bijelo Polje and Bar”.
Interested candidates should submit:
1. Personal information about the artist / artist group
2. Short biography of max 300 words (education, important exhibitions, completed projects, information on the previously executed mural and photograph of the murals)
3. Description of proposal max 500 words
4. The proposal of the murals
5. Material required for making murals
The motion of the murals must not have been carried out beforehand.
A maximum of 3 proposals per artist / artist group can be submitted in the form of photography exclusively in JPG or PNG format max 2mb per photo.
