The Prime Minister thanked Germany and Minister Steinmeier for their continued support for strategic foreign policy priorities of Montenegro and informed him about the Government’s reform achievements, which are recognised in the recently published the European Commission’s Country Report, representing the best recommendation for further progress of Montenegro ahead of NATO Ministerial Meeting in December.

Germany has always supported Montenegro’s path towards EU and NATO, and it expects the issue of extending a NATO invitation to Montenegro to be positively resolved at the ministerial meeting in early December, Foreign Ministerb Steinmeier emphasised.
