Contracts Signed for Five Projects Within the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro

Five joint projects involving institutions and organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, approved for funding under the First Call of the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021-2027, are set to begin implementation this month and early next year. This follows the signing of grant agreements in Sarajevo between the Contracting Authority and lead partners.

The contracted projects fall under Thematic Priority 2 – Promoting Tourism, Cultural and Natural Heritage. Two projects have Montenegrin lead partners, while three are led by organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Polim Museum, Berane: Lead partner in the project “Inclusive Heritage: Sustainable Cultural Tourism in the Hinterland” in partnership with the Museum of Herzegovina, Trebinje. Total project value: €497,181.49.

Plužine Municipality: Lead partner in “T.A.R.A. 2.0 – Tourism, Adrenaline, and Rafting Adventure”, a continuation of a previous cross-border cooperation project. Partners include the Piva Nature Park, Foča Municipality, and Foča Tourist Organization. Total project value: €529,082.53.

IPC Tehnopolis, Nikšić: Partner in the project “STAR – Strengthening the Tourism Offer in the Cross-Border Area Through Attracting Digital Nomads to Rural Areas”, led by INTERA Technology Park, Mostar, with Montenegro’s National Tourism Organization as another partner. Total project value: €455,827.33.

LiNK Association for Entrepreneurship and Business, Mostar: Lead partner in the project “One Region, One Story, One Map” in partnership with NGO Multimedial Montenegro, Bijelo Polje, the National Museum of Montenegro, Cetinje, and Jablanica Municipality. Total project value: €495,000.

Konjic Municipality: Partnering with Danilovgrad Municipality and LiNK Association to implement the project “Discover Hidden Attractions”. Total project value: €464,000.
