30 Projects Approved Under the Second Call of the Interreg Danube Region Programme

At the 6th Monitoring Committee Meeting of the Interreg Danube Region Programme, held on December 17 and 18, 2024, in Zagreb, 30 project proposals submitted under the Second Call were approved for funding.

Among the approved projects, 14 Montenegrin institutions and organizations will participate in 12 projects. The total funding allocated for the activities of Montenegrin partners amounts to approximately €1.8 million.

These projects aim to promote renewable energy, protect and preserve biodiversity, enhance labor market efficiency and the quality of educational services, strengthen the role of culture and sustainable tourism, and improve institutional capacities for territorial and macro-regional governance.

The implementation process for the approved projects is expected to begin in April 2025. The Ministry of European Affairs congratulates all selected partners and wishes them great success in the implementation process.
