Within the 2014-2020 IPA II programming, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration hosted public consultations on the trilateral cross-border programme Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro and the report on the strategic impact assessment for the environment (SEA).
The gathering was an opportunity to exchange opinions on the programme’s future, priorities, specific objectives, types of activities to be financed, and potential beneficiaries.
Public consultations were opened by Ivana Glišević Đurović, head of the Directorate for Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes, and she informed the participants of the programmes in which Montenegro will participate over the 2014-2020 period.
The main priorities of the trilateral programme were presented: public health and social protection, environment, risk protection, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, tourism, culture and natural heritage, competition, and business environment development.
Following the discussion, experts Jiri Dusik and Jelena Fressl presented the report on the strategic impact assessment for the environment.
Event participants were representatives of state institutions’, local governments, public institutions, and civil society, who expressed great interest for participation in the future programme.
