The First Call for Project Proposals under the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro-Kosovo 2021-2027 has been published today.
The deadline for submitting concept notes is 25 October 2024.
This call is open to local governments represented in the program area, local and regional development organizations/agencies, national authorities and institutions engaged in tourism, environmental protection, culture, business associations, organizations supporting entrepreneurship, institutions promoting self-employment, chambers of commerce and crafts, civil society organizations (CSOs), agricultural cooperatives/associations, development organizations/agencies, educational and research institutions, and organizations responsible for providing social services.
Today, the First Call for Project Proposal Submissions under the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Program Montenegro-Kosovo 2021-2027 has been announced.
The deadline for submitting project summaries is October 25, 2024.
This call is open to local governments in the programme area, local and regional development organizations/agencies, national authorities and institutions dealing with tourism, environmental protection, culture, business associations, organizations supporting entrepreneurship, institutions promoting self-employment, chambers of commerce and crafts, civil society organizations (CSOs), agricultural cooperatives/associations, development organizations/agencies, educational and research institutions and organizations providing social services.
Under this call, support will be given to projects worth up to €400,000 aimed at increasing cross-border employment for youth and vulnerable groups, as well as to projects valued up to €600,000 intended to promote sustainable tourism in the cross-border region.
The project duration is limited to 26 months for employment-related projects and 30 months for tourism-related projects. The total budget for this call is €5.4 million.
The programme area in Montenegro includes the municipalities of Andrijevica, Bar, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Gusinje, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Petnjica, Plav, Podgorica, Rožaje, Tuzi, Ulcinj and Zeta. In Kosovo, the programme area covers Peć, Istok, Klina, Junik, Deçan and Gjakova.
